Well, boys and girls, it's about that time. On Thursday, April 24th, lives will be changed as the 2025 NFL Draft commences in Green Bay, Wisconsin. As always, I've been thoroughly invested in this process, ignoring more pressing issues like school and work to scout football players, some of whom inevitably won't amount to much in the league. The 2025 NFL draft class is... interesting. I wouldn't call it great, but it's not the worst class I've ever seen (looking at you, 2013). There are some insane prospects in this class that I think will turn out to be great players. This is going to be my final mock before the actual draft happens, so let's get started. It'll be a 3-round mock, with explanations for all of the picks. Without further adieu, I present to you...
ROUND ONE.
1. Tennessee Titans - Cameron Ward | QB | Miami (FL)
It seems like an inevitability at this point that the Titans will be selecting Miami signal-caller Cameron Ward with the first overall pick in the draft. It's not hard to see why, either. He's an excellent prospect, with elite raw ability and tools to make plays. He's been successful at multiple levels of college football, culminating in a statistically excellent season at Miami in 2024. He has a great arm, good mobility, and recognizes holes in coverage better than most in this draft class. Tennessee needs a franchise quarterback, and I think Ward could be that guy. Ward threw for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions in his lone season as the starter for the Hurricanes.
2. Cleveland Browns - Travis Hunter | CB/WR | Colorado
The plot twist I wasn't expecting was the projected pick for the Browns switching from Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter to Colorado superstar Travis Hunter. Hunter played both wide receiver and cornerback at an elite level for the Buffaloes, winning the Heisman trophy in 2024 as college football's best player. Cleveland needs help on both sides of the ball, and Hunter would give them a dynamic weapon on offense and a lockdown corner on defense. GM Andrew Berry compared him to Shohei Ohtani, and while I wouldn't go that far, I do see why. Hunter posted 1,258 receiving yards, 15 TDs, 4 interceptions, and 11 passes deflected in his Heisman campaign in 2024.
3. New York Giants - Abdul Carter | EDGE | Penn State
While he'll probably be disappointed to be playing for a division rival of his favorite team, Carter won't be complaining about being a top 3 selection. This defensive force was a key part of Penn State's CFP run in 2024, and is rightfully deserving of being a top selection in the draft. His game-wrecking ability and versatility will be a key asset for whatever team drafts him, in this case the Giants. Carter would immediately form one of the best pass-rushing duos in the game with stud edge rusher Brian Burns, and would help an already decent defense become even better. Carter put up 68 total tackles, 24 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks in his 2024 season with the Nittany Lions.
4. New England Patriots - Will Campbell | OT | LSU
New England is desperately hoping that either Carter or Hunter falls to 4, but in the case that they don't, I'm fully expecting them to take an offensive lineman. Despite his T. Rex-arms, Will Campbell is the best tackle in the class and has the potential to be a cornerstone of an offensive line in the NFL. He is highly athletic and has been dominant against SEC competition for the last three years, which is impressive. Building from the trenches will be key if New England wants to make it anywhere with Drake Maye under center, and he'll definitely need the protection. Campbell started 38 games at left tackle for the Tigers in his 3-year career, and was a finalist for the Lombardi award this past season.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars - Mason Graham | DT | Michigan
The Jacksonville Jaguars were a complete dumpster fire of an organization last year, so they need all the help they can get. Adding in an ultra-talented defensive lineman would be a start to rebuilding under Liam Coen. At Michigan, Mason Graham was a game-wrecker who single-handedly changed the complexion of games. He was a heavy contributor in Michigan's upset win over the national champion Ohio State Buckeyes in 2024, and that was due to his powerful motor and strength. There are some concerns about his arm length, but those are nitpicks on a guy who's proven to be an elite talent. In 2024, Graham produced 45 total tackles, 7 TFLs, and 3.5 sacks in 12 games.
6. Las Vegas Raiders - Ashton Jeanty | RB | Boise State
Las Vegas can't go into 2025 with Sincere McCormick, Zamir White, and Raheem Mostert as their running backs. Sure, those guys aren't the worst in the world, but they need an elite back to help out Geno Smith in making that offense more dynamic. Luckily, the best running back prospect since Saquon Barkley is sitting right here for them to take. Jeanty put up one of the greatest seasons I've ever seen, and narrowly lost out on the Heisman Trophy. The Boise State star has been compared to LaDainian Tomlinson, which is deserved high praise. He's a workhorse back with explosiveness and juice to carry an offense, which he did in 2024, leading Boise State to the playoff. In 14 games in 2024, Jeanty ran for 2,601 yards and 29 touchdowns, cementing himself as one of the greatest college football running backs of all time. Pete Carroll should be running to the podium himself if Jeanty is there.
7. New York Jets - Armand Membou | OT | Missouri
After drafting their left tackle of the future in Olu Fashanu last year, the New York Jets draft their right tackle of the future in athletic freak Armand Membou. This guy ran a sub-5 second 40-yard dash at 332 pounds, which is insane to me. Membou has been a starter at right tackle for Missouri for the last two years, and has risen up the draft board in a very quick manner over the past few months. He's a young prospect who has good body control, hands, and athleticism. His potential should allow him to be an elite starter at right tackle for a long time. If the Jets want to be successful with new quarterback Justin Fields, drafting a stud right tackle would be key, and I think Membou could be that.
8. Carolina Panthers - Jalon Walker | EDGE | Georgia
Carolina desperately needs help on the edge, considering their best pass rusher is a past-his-prime Jadeveon Clowney. The team just hasn't had that spark on their defense since trading away Brian Burns a couple years ago. Jalon Walker feels like the perfect pick for a team that's looking for an outside linebacker to be an edge rusher. The athletic talent played both off-the-ball and on the edge for the Bulldogs, He has a good combination of length and athleticism that lends himself well to being a diet Micah Parsons-type player. He obviously isn't the same caliber of player as Parsons, but I could see him fulfilling the same role for the Panthers. In his final season for the Bulldogs, Walker put up 60 tackles, 11 TFLs, and 6.5 sacks in 14 games.
9. New Orleans Saints - Jahdae Barron | CB | Texas
It's a rough time in New Orleans, because this team is terrible. They need essentially everything you could possibly think of, mostly due to how they've screwed themselves over with their cap situation and signing my personal nemesis, Derek Carr, to a terrible contract. After losing Paulson Adebo to the New York Giants, the Saints should look to add more help in a porous secondary. Jahdae Barron is seen mostly as a nickel corner, which is something the Saints need. Barron was one of the fastest corners at the combine, and has a good combination of size and athleticism to go along with how productive he was in college. In his only season in the SEC, Barron put up 67 tackles, 5 interceptions, and 11 passes deflected while winning the Jim Thorpe Award as the nation's best DB.
10. Chicago Bears - Tyler Warren | TE | Penn State
I have a feeling offensive mind Ben Johnson is going to want to help Caleb Williams as much as possible in this draft. Get him more weapons and allow him to go ham in what should be a breakout season. Drafting the best tight end in the class would allow the Bears to do that. While he's not the prospect Brock Bowers was, he was an absolute beast for the Nittany Lions, setting school records and winning the John Mackey Award. Putting him in two TE sets with Cole Kmet would be very intriguing and dangerous for other teams in the NFC North. Watch out, Packers, Lions, and Vikings. A new challenger might just arise in the Windy City. In 2024, Warren caught 104 passes for 1,233 yards and 8 touchdowns while rushing for 218 yards and 4 touchdowns.
11. San Francisco 49ers - Derrick Harmon | DT | Oregon
Let me put it simply. The 49ers are currently starting Evan Anderson and Jordan Elliott as their defensive tackles. They need help at the position. Harmon is a good run stopper with a lot of strength and power for the position. San Francisco has a history of drafting Oregon defensive linemen (see Arik Armstead and DeForest Buckner for example), so I could definitely see them targeting Harmon here. He's not primarily a nose tackle or a 3-tech, but could play either position in my opinion. In a conference that features good runners like Kyren Williams and Kenneth Walker, drafting a strong, run-stuffing DT should be a primary concern. In his only season with the Ducks, Harmon put up 45 tackles, 11 TFLs, and 5 sacks while being named 2nd-team All-American and 3rd-team All-Big Ten.
12. Dallas Cowboys - Matthew Golden | WR | Texas
Getting more weapons for Dak Prescott should be a primary concern for Jerry and co, especially considering only one player had more than 700 receiving yards for the team. Matthew Golden is a speedster who reminds me heavily of Chris Olave, which is high praise if you've read my "
Top Ten Famous People Named Chris" list. He's not as polished of a route runner as Olave, but he's got excellent body control and in-game speed to match his electric combine performance. This would be a flashy selection for the Cowboys, but one that makes a ton of sense to me. In 16 games for the Longhorns, Golden put up 58 catches for 987 yards and 9 touchdowns.
13. Miami Dolphins - Will Johnson | CB | Michigan
It seems that Jalen Ramsey may have played his last game as a Miami Dolphin. If that's the case, the team needs to target secondary players in the draft. Johnson was a projected top 5 pick before the season started, but has slightly fallen due to injury and size concerns. He'd still be a good fit in Miami, who needs more help alongside Kader Kohou and safety signings Ifeatu Melifonwu and Ashtyn Davis. Johnson is a big, fluid corner who recognizes plays incredibly well, putting up elite performances against big-name opponents throughout his career. Johnson suffered a season-ending injury in 2024 which led him to only playing 6 games, but he still managed to have two separate pick sixes in the year.
14. Indianapolis Colts - Colston Loveland | TE | Michigan
Everybody seems to have penciled in a tight end to the Indianapolis Colts at this rate, which I completely understand. The team has suffered from lack of talent at the position for the last few years, so they need to find an upgrade. Loveland is the 2nd elite tight end prospect in the class, and was the top tight end projected before Tyler Warren broke out this season. This is perfectly fine for Indianapolis, who would be content with either here. Loveland has incredible athletic ability, showing good route running and hands that make him a dangerous threat at any level. If they want Anthony Richardson to have any chance of succeeding, drafting an elite weapon here is key. Loveland is that. Loveland put up 56 receptions for 582 yards and 5 touchdowns for the Wolverines in 2024, although he missed multiple games due to injury.
15. Atlanta Falcons - Shemar Stewart | EDGE | Texas A&M
Shemar Stewart is the Travon Walker of this draft class, in that he wasn't the most productive edge rusher in college but has the athletic talent to be a true gem in the future. Difference is, Travon Walker actually had some production in college, while Stewart put up very little. I still think a team is going to take a chance on him high, though, because the athleticism is truly elite. He has a great combination of speed, power, and size that could make him a dangerous force at the next level. The question is... can he put it together? Atlanta needs help on the edge after not having a pass rush for what feels like 8 years. If Stewart can put it together, maybe that help put them back in the playoff hunt. In 2024, Stewart put up 31 tackles, 6 TFLs, and 1.5 sacks.
16. Houston Texans (via Cardinals) - Kelvin Banks Jr. | OT | Texas
TRADE: The Houston Texans send pick 25 and pick 79 to the Arizona Cardinals for pick 16.
It's no secret that the Houston Texans are planning to target an offensive lineman in this draft, as they traded away both Laremy Tunsil and Kenyon Green this offseason for draft capital (and C.J. Gardner-Johnson for some reason). Kelvin Banks is one of the top tackles in this class, and would be a perfect fit in Houston. He could come in and start right away at either one of the guard positions (or even right tackle if they feel like it). Protecting C.J. Stroud has to be the priority, and Banks' combination of quickness, athleticism, and strength would allow him to be a quality starting lineman for a long time. Banks started 42 games at left tackle over his career with the Longhorns, and won both the Lombardi Award and Outland Trophy in 2024.
17. Cincinnati Bengals - Mykel Williams | EDGE | Georgia
With the Trey Hendrickson situation looming large over the franchise, I expect the Bengals to target an edge rusher early in the draft. In this case, the best available is Georgia's Mykel Williams. Mykel is a physical end with a lot of desirable traits that lead him to be a 1st-round prospect. He has explosiveness and strength that I think still needs to be refined, but he could still be a day one impact player in the right system, which Al Golden's could be. Williams was also a TFL machine, with 23 out of his 67 career tackles being TFLs. In his last season for the Bulldogs, Williams put up 21 tackles, 9 TFLs, and 5 sacks in 12 games.
18. Seattle Seahawks - Tetairoa McMillan | WR | Arizona
I know that the team just signed Cooper Kupp, but I don't think he's going to be the long-term WR1 in Seattle. Pairing another young guy with Jaxon Smith-Njigba would be a nice move for a team with a lot of potential. McMillan is a great jump ball guy who is reminiscent of Mike Evans in the minds of a lot of people, but I don't know if the league views him as highly as a lot of other people. McMillan has been highly productive for the Wildcats over these past few years, and has the potential to be an excellent weapon for a quarterback in the NFL. In his final season with Arizona, McMillan was 1st-team All-American and 1st-team All-Big 12 as he put up 84 receptions for 1,319 yards and 8 touchdowns. He also set a school record with 304 yards in a dominating performance against New Mexico.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Jihaad Campbell | LB | Alabama
Lavonte David probably doesn't have much left in the tank despite being a franchise legend. Drafting somebody to learn from him while also being an immediate impact player would be a smart decision for the franchise. Campbell is an excellent off-ball linebacker who has a good combination of versatility and athleticism. He can rush the passer while also doing good work in coverage, which makes him an intriguing prospect. Tampa Bay needs more help on their defense, and they've shown interest in Jihaad, which makes this both a likely and well-fitting pick. Campbell had an incredible season for the Crimson Tide in 2024, with 117 tackles, 12 TFLs, and 5 sacks.
20. Denver Broncos - Omarion Hampton | RB | North Carolina
After losing Javonte Williams in the offseason, Denver doesn't have a quality starting runner on the roster. Omarion Hampton is a workhorse back who's been highly productive in his career. He's a power back, but also has decent speed and athleticism to combine with that. Once he's off and running, there's not much stopping him as he's a tough, powerful back. Having an elite runner would give Denver's offense much more depth and complexity, making life easier for 2nd-year QB Bo Nix for the foreseeable future. Hampton is a very accomplished back, rushing for 1,660 yards and 15 touchdowns for the Tar Heels in his final season with the team.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers - Jalen Milroe | QB | Alabama

Pittsburgh doesn't have any clarity at the moment to whether or not they will sign Aaron Rodgers in free agency, but I do believe they will target a quarterback in the draft, whether that be in the 1st or the later rounds. In this case, they take a quarterback round one, that being Alabama's Jalen Milroe. While I'm not a Milroe truther myself, I see why teams would like him. He has a rare athletic build for a quarterback, with the speed of Lamar Jackson. He's also got a pretty intelligent head on his shoulders, which could make it easier for him to adjust to NFL offenses. My problem with Milroe, however, was his inconsistency. He laid pretty big eggs in losses to Tennessee and Oklahoma, and he didn't have a very good TD to INT ratio in 2024. However, if he's going to succeed anywhere, I think it would be Pittsburgh due to their stable coaching staff. Only time will tell if he ends up being the guy for Pittsburgh if he goes there. In 2024, Milroe passed for 2,844 yards with 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while rushing for 726 yards and 20 touchdowns.
22. Los Angeles Chargers - Kenneth Grant | DT | Michigan
Jim Harbaugh brings in one of his own to Los Angeles in nose tackle Kenneth Grant, who has a very wide draft range in my opinion. I could see him going anywhere from San Francisco at 11 to Buffalo at 30. I feel like Los Angeles is an excellent landing spot for the Michigan talent, who has a surprising amount of athleticism for a guy with this much size. He's got multiple highlights of showing surprising speed, and his power as a run-stopper would be very beneficial for teams at the next level. While Teair Tart is a fine nose, Grant is much younger and would have a higher upside. Add that in with the plus of being a guy Harbaugh is familiar with, and you have the makings of a perfect pick. Grant put up 32 tackles with 7 TFLs and 3 sacks in 12 games in 2024.
23. Green Bay Packers - Trey Amos | CB | Ole Miss
Green Bay needs more help in the secondary. Adding in a good press corner like Trey Amos could be the start to rejuvenating a group that struggled last season. I like Amos a lot, and think he's going to go higher than most project, which is why I have him here. He has elite speed and uses his physicality in a very beneficial way in coverage. There are some concerns about his tackling, but he's played well for the past two years against very good receivers in the SEC. If he can improve the run support aspect of his game, I think he could develop into an above average corner at the NFL level. In 2024, Amos put up 50 tackles, 4 TFLs, 3 INTs, and 13 passes deflected.
24. Cleveland Browns (via Vikings) - Shedeur Sanders | QB | Colorado
TRADE: The Cleveland Browns send picks 33, 94, and 179 to the Vikings for pick 24
After taking Travis Hunter at 2, the Browns trade back up into the first to select his quarterback, Shedeur Sanders. While they signed Joe Flacco, I don't think that's going to prevent them from taking a QB in the draft. Sanders is a good pocket passer with a lot of accuracy that holds the all-time record for completion percentage at the FBS level. The main concern with Sanders is his mobility, which he lacks. He tends to hold on to the ball too long and takes sacks that other, more mobile quarterbacks wouldn't take. I do think he has a decent arm and ball placement, so there is potential here. It all depends on the surrounding environment in Cleveland. Reuniting with Hunter would be an all-time media frenzy, though. In 2024, Shedeur completed a whopping 74% of his passes for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions in 13 games.
25. Arizona Cardinals (via Texans) - Walter Nolen | DT | Ole Miss
Arizona added some key pieces to their defense this offseason, including Josh Sweat, Calais Campbell, and Dalvin Tomlinson. I think adding some more help to the front seven would be beneficial for the team. Walter Nolen was a 5-star recruit for Texas A&M back in 2022, and transferred to Ole Miss for the 2024 season, where he increased his production. Nolen is known for his explosiveness, and his athleticism is nice for the position. Letting Nolen learn behind Calais Campbell for a year before unleashing him into the starting lineup would be a good plan for the Cardinals, in my opinion. Nolen put up 48 tackles, 14 TFLs, and 6.5 sacks in his lone season for the Rebels.
26. Los Angeles Rams - Josh Conerly Jr. | OT | Oregon
The Rams need a cornerback, but I don't believe there to be any worth them to take at this position. Josh Conerly Jr. is a talented, young tackle prospect with good athleticism and skills. I project Conerly to be a project tackle, which is what he would be for the Rams. Rob Havenstein is still a quality starter, but I don't see him having very many seasons left, especially considering that his contract expires after the upcoming season. Conerly could also fill in at guard or tackle if they need him to in case of injury. Conerly was a quality starter for the Ducks throughout his career, starting 28 games at left tackle over his last two seasons. He was 1st-team All-Big Ten and 3rd-team All-American in 2024.
27. Baltimore Ravens - Donovan Ezeiruaku | EDGE | Boston College
Baltimore needs to get themselves an edge rusher in this class to help Odafe Oweh out. Their corps is very disappointing, especially considering how David Ojabo disappointed. Ezeiruaku is a slightly smaller edge rusher who put up some of the best numbers in the country for the Eagles last season. He has good length for the position and puts himself in a good position to succeed with his aggression. Adding in a highly productive guy like Ezeiruaku would be a good help to a defense that struggled somewhat in 2024. Donovan won the Ted Hendricks Award as the nation's top defensive end in 2024, putting up 80 tackles, 21 TFLs, and 16.5 sacks.
28. Philadelphia Eagles (via Lions) - Mike Green | EDGE | Marshall
TRADE: The Philadelphia Eagles send picks 32 and 96 to the Lions for picks 28 and 130
Philadelphia doesn't really have any major needs, but they did lose Josh Sweat in free agency. Trading up for a talented edge rusher like Mike Green could be in the cards if the team feels like they need to address that loss. There are some character concerns with Green stemming from sexual assault allegations while he was at the University of Virginia, but someone is going to take a chance on him. Green is a powerful edge rusher, showing good explosiveness and instincts. He performed well against Ohio State this season, and led the FBS in sacks. Overall, Green would be a help to Philly's defense next to Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt. Green put up 84 tackles, 22.5 TFLs, and 17 sacks in 2024.
29. Washington Commanders - TreVeyon Henderson | RB | Ohio State
Washington is reportedly looking to add a lead back in this year's draft. That's probably a good idea considering the strength of this running back class. Ohio State had two potential top 50 picks in their backfield this past season, and TreVeyon Henderson is likely to be the first of them off the board. Henderson has a high level of speed and didn't let up a single fumble throughout his entire collegiate career. He's shown explosiveness, like when he outran all of the Longhorns with his last-second touchdown in the first half of the Cotton Bowl against Texas. Washington needs a guy who can add that sort of dynamic to their offense, and Henderson could easily be that. In 2024, Henderson put up 144 rushes for 1,016 yards and 10 touchdowns while splitting time with Quinshon Judkins.
30. Buffalo Bills - Malaki Starks | SAF | Georgia
This isn't necessarily the position Buffalo should target round one, but rather a case of taking the best player on the board. I could definitely see Starks going a lot higher than this, but the board falls in such a way that the Bills are able to add needed help to their secondary alongside Christian Benford. Starks is a versatile player who could play multiple spots in a defense, which makes me wonder how Buffalo would use him. Starks should be a very good starter for a long time for whichever team drafts him due to his football I.Q. and athleticism. Starks put up 77 tackles, 4 TFLs, 3 PBUs, and an interception in 2024, while being named a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award.
31. Kansas City Chiefs - Josh Simmons | OT | Ohio State
While they signed former 49er Jaylon Moore this offseason, the two-year tells me they don't necessarily see him as the long-term solution at left tackle. Adding in another tackle should be a priority for the team, and Simmons would be a perfect fit. He did suffer a season-ending patellar tendon injury against Oregon, but was one of the nation's best tackles before that happened. His fluidity and timing allowed him to be an excellent pass protector, while he was also a good run-blocker. I think redshirting Simmons for a year to let him completely heal from his injury would be the tactic here, as Moore can start for a year before Simmons takes over. Simmons started 13 games at right tackle for San Diego State in 2022, and started a total of 19 games at left tackle for the Buckeyes in 2023 and 2024.
32. Detroit Lions (via Eagles) - Grey Zabel | OG | North Dakota State
Detroit needs to address their interior offensive line at some point this draft. Graham Glasgow is decent, but he's getting older and will need to be replaced soon. Grey Zabel is a guy who could play any interior position in the league, with some even projecting him to be a center at the next level. While he played tackle for the Bison, he would almost certainly be playing guard if drafted by Detroit. Zabel possesses good play strength and has quick hands, which he needed at tackle considering his short arms. His frame would much be better suited for the interior. Zabel was a 1st-team FCS All-American and 1st-team All-Missouri Valley Conference in 2024, as he won a national championship with North Dakota State.
ROUND TWO.
33. Minnesota Vikings (via Browns) - Nick Emmanwori | SAF | South Carolina
Minnesota trades down and gets the guy I probably would've given them at 24 anyway. Minnesota needs to address the secondary in this draft, and adding an athletic freak at safety like Emmanwori would probably be a good move. Nick ran a 4.38 40-yard-dash while also putting up 20 bench reps, showing a good combination of strength and speed. He was a 1st-team All-American in 2024, putting up 88 tackles, 3 TFLs, 4 INTs (including 2 pick sixes), and 2 PBUs.
34. New York Giants - Donovan Jackson | OG | Ohio State
New York is likely going to roll into next season with Russell Wilson as the starter, so adding extra protection along the offensive line is necessary for success. Jackson is a decorated starter at guard who also played a lot at tackle in 2024 due to Josh Simmons' injury. Jackson has good length and power for the position, which complements his movement skills. Simmons started 5 games at left guard and 9 games at left tackle in 2024 for the national champion Buckeyes.
35. Tennessee Titans - James Pearce Jr. | EDGE | Tennessee

After releasing Harold Landry III, I could definitely see the Titans targeting an edge rusher early. James Pearce Jr. has the potential to be that guy, with decent explosiveness and power for the position. Not only that, but Pearce also played for the in-state Volunteers, which makes this a fun selection. Considering how dire their pass rush is currently, Pearce falling to them would be an instant home run. Pearce put up 38 tackles, 13 TFLs, and 7.5 sacks in 2024.
36. Jacksonville Jaguars - Emeka Egbuka | WR | Ohio State
Emeka Egbuka is one of the most intriguing prospects in this draft for me. He's an excellent slot receiver who reminds me of a higher-upside Tyler Boyd, and he's been highly productive throughout his entire career. Jacksonville needs more help in their receiving corps, so giving Lawrence a good target like Egbuka would definitely be helpful. Egbuka has clutch hands and always makes the catch at the right moment. He had 81 receptions for 1,011 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2024 as Ohio State's WR2.
37. Las Vegas Raiders - Benjamin Morrison | CB | Notre Dame
Las Vegas just released Jack Jones, meaning that their secondary situation is even worse than it already was. I could see them drafting Will Johnson or Jahdae Barron at 6, but I think waiting until the early 2nd would be smarter. Morrison was a projected top ten pick but a season-ending injury has tanked his draft stock. Morrison is a good press corner, but has some work to do on his footwork. He started 6 games in 2024, putting up 20 tackles and 4 PBUs.
38. New England Patriots - Luther Burden | WR | Missouri
While they signed Stefon Diggs in free agency, the rest of New England's receiving corps is rough at best. Luther Burden has elite athleticism and was the best player on Missouri's Cotton Bowl-winning team in 2023. He's a playmaker who also has the speed to back it up. His production wasn't as good in 2024, but I'd attribute that to inconsistent QB play rather than an indictment on Burden himself. Burden had 61 receptions for 676 yards and 6 touchdowns in 2024.
39. Chicago Bears - Quinshon Judkins | RB | Ohio State
The other side of Ohio State's two-headed monster, former Ole Miss transfer Quinshon Judkins is a powerful back who's been highly productive in both the Big Ten and the SEC. Chicago needs to add another back in a stacked class, and Judkins is the best one available. He's not as fast as some of the other backs, but has the explosiveness to break off big runs and the power to barrel through defenders. Judkins put up 1,060 yards and 14 touchdowns while splitting time with TreVeyon Henderson.
40. New Orleans Saints - Jaxson Dart | QB | Ole Miss
With Derek Carr's potential season-ending injury, I think it makes sense for the Saints to draft a quarterback early. While there were none at 9 worth taking, Jaxson Dart is a perfect fit here. Dart is a decently accurate quarterback who makes good decisions in his throws. He's been highly productive, but the question is whether he can succeed outside of Lane Kiffin's system. I think being coached by Kellen Moore might help him a lot. Dart put up 4,279 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 6 INTs in 2024.
41. Seattle Seahawks (via Bears) - Mason Taylor | TE | LSU
TRADE: The Seattle Seahawks send picks 52 and 92 to the Bears for picks 41 and 148
Noah Fant's contract is expiring in 2025, and the team likely needs to look for a future at the tight end position. The son of hall of fame defender Jason Taylor, Mason Taylor has been a very productive tight end for the LSU Tigers over the past few years, beginning with a game-winning catch against Alabama in 2022. He has a good frame and is a decent blocker, but shows plus upside as a receiving threat. Taylor put up 55 receptions for 546 yards and 2 touchdowns in 2024.
42. New York Jets - Tyleik Williams | DT | Ohio State
The Jets need to look to add more help on their defensive line next to Quinnen Williams. Tyleik Williams is a run-stuffing DT with physical tendencies who was a key piece to Ohio State's front seven in their national championship run. Williams has explosiveness in his step and a violent first attack, but needs to work on his hands. He'd be a good fit next to Quinnen, who could help him develop. Williams had 46 tackles, 8 TFLs, and 2.5 sacks for the Buckeyes in 13 games in 2024.
43. San Francisco 49ers - Azareye'h Thomas | CB | Florida State
After losing Charvarius Ward in free agency, the 49ers need more help in the secondary. To do that, they draft the teammate of 2024 2nd-rounder Renardo Green in FSU's Azareye'h Thomas. Thomas is a good press man corner, with adequate length and physicality for the position. He's not the fastest in the world, but he makes up for it with good technique. Thomas was one of the only bright spots for Florida State in 2024. He put up 52 tackles, 2 TFLs, an INT, and 4 PBUs in 2024.
44. Dallas Cowboys - Demetrius Knight | LB | South Carolina
With DeMarvion Overshown's injury, Dallas likely needs to add more to their linebacking unit next to Marist Liufau. Demetrius Knight is an older prospect at 25, but he's been a very productive player with good athleticism, and he improved so much in his last year. He's also a very good tackler. I think Knight would be an intriguing selection here, as Dallas needs to improve their defense somewhat. Knight put up 82 tackles, 8 TFLs, 2 sacks, and an INT for the Gamecocks in 2024.
45. Indianapolis Colts - Carson Schwesinger | LB | UCLA
The other 2nd-round linebacker prospect in my opinion, Carson Schwesinger just has the vibe of a Colts player. After losing E.J. Speed in free agency, the Colts need to add another linebacker next to Zaire Franklin. I love Schwesinger's game, as he has great instincts and play recognition that helped him to become very productive at UCLA. He was a former walk-on, as well, working hard for his spot on the team. Schwesinger had 136 tackles, 8.5 TFLs, 4 sacks, 2 INTs, and 3 PBUs for the Bruins in 2024.
46. Atlanta Falcons - Jared Wilson | C | Georgia
Losing Drew Dalman in free agency stings, but the Falcons find a quick replacement here. Jared Wilson was an above-average starter for the Bulldogs this past season, and has some of the best athletic traits of any interior offensive lineman in this class. He's got decent strength, but there are concerns about he will fare against the power of NFL linemen. I think he's going to be fine, considering his pedigree. He started 12 games at center for Georgia this past year and was named 2nd-team All-SEC.
47. Arizona Cardinals - Jayden Higgins | WR | Iowa State
Arizona needs to add a second receiver next to Maserati Marv. Jayden Higgins is likely to go higher than this, and I think he'd be an excellent fit. Higgins is a bigger receiver, being 6'4" and 214 pounds, which is incredible considering how athletic he is. He's an excellent route runner with good hands. Give Kyler Murray two potentially great weapons and maybe then he'll finally show what he's made of. Or he'll just play Call of Duty. Whichever works. Higgins put up 87 receptions for 1,183 yards and 9 touchdowns in 2024 on his way to being named 2nd-team All-Big 12.
48. Miami Dolphins - Tyler Booker | OG | Alabama
Tua Tagovailoa's health has been a primary concern over the past couple of seasons, so drafting an offensive lineman on Day 1 or 2 is going to be key for the Dolphins. Tyler Booker has been a projected 1st-rounder all year, but falls here due to his limited athleticism and poor testing. He's a very strong player, but doesn't have the quickness a lot of other players at his position have. I think he'll still be a fine starter in the league, but don't be surprised to see him fall out of the first round or even all the way to pick 48. Booker started 13 games in 2024 for the Crimson Tide.
49. Buffalo Bills (via Bengals) - Darius Alexander | DT | Toledo
TRADE: The Buffalo Bills send picks 56 and 109 to the Bengals for pick 49.
The Bills have a ton of extra draft capital to play with this year, so they use it here to trade up for another piece for their front seven. Darius Alexander is a physical run-stopper who has a lot of good traits for a defensive tackle. Buffalo needs that, as they strugled to stop the run this past season. Alexander has good length and size, but he has to work on his technique and pass rush. Alexander put up 40 tackles, 7.5 TFLs, 3.5 sacks, 4 PBUs, and a pick six for the Rockets in 2024.
50. Seattle Seahawks - Tate Ratledge | OG | Georgia
Seattle desperately needs interior line help, but their GM, John Schneider, is not known for drafting that early. With their third pick, Seattle finally gets a guard to help protect Sam Darnold. Ratledge is a high floor guard who has a lot of toughness and grit. He's one of the best run blockers in this class, and his firmness gives him a good amount of leg room. I think drafting OL at least one of the first two round should be key for Seattle. Ratledge started 10 games for the Bulldogs in 2024 and was 3rd-team All-American.
51. Denver Broncos - Tre Harris | WR | Ole Miss
Denver needs to add more weapons to Bo Nix's arsenal to capitalize on his rookie deal. Tre Harris is an excellent wideout prospect who has a good combo of size and speed to succeed at the NFL level. There are some concerns with his contested catch ability, but he improved on that this past year and I have faith he can continue to do that. He's also a good deep ball threat, which adds more dynamics to his game. He had 60 receptions for 1,030 receiving yards and 7 TDs in 2024.
52. Chicago Bears (via Seahawks) - Nic Scourton | EDGE | Texas A&M
I considered Scourton's teammate, Shemar Stewart, at pick 10, but getting Scourton here is great value when you acknowledge that he was a projected 1st-rounder for most of the year. Scourton is a physical edge rusher who uses good technique to win in the pass rush. One worry was that he didn't perform as well in 2024 as he did in 2023, but adjusting to a new system and team will do that to you. Scourton could learn from Montez Sweat and Dayo Odeyingbo in Chicago. He put up 37 tackles, 14 TFLs, and 5 sacks in 2024 while being named 1st-team All-SEC.
53. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Maxwell Hairston | CB | Kentucky
The slide ends here for Hairston, as the Buccaneers need to address the secondary at some point during this draft. Adding another piece in the secondary next to Jamel Dean and Zyon McCollum is key, especially in a division that features both Chris Olave and Drake London. Hairston is an elite athlete with sub-4.3 speed that makes him a dangerous threat to any quarterback. There are some character concerns, though, and, while Tampa doesn't usually deal with that, there's too much value to pass up in an athletic freak like Hairston. Maxwell had 19 tackles, a pick six, and 4 PBUs for the Wildcats in 7 games in 2024.
54. Green Bay Packers - Princely Umanmielen | EDGE | Ole Miss
Green Bay seems to want to add some help in their pass rush, and they've shown interest in Princely Umanmielen, who is available for them at 54. The former Florida transfer was highly productive in his lone season with the Rebels, becoming 1st-team All-SEC. Umanmielen has a lot of size and length, which, combined with his speed, is a good combination of traits. Fit him next to Rashan Gary and you might have a future top duo (potentially). Umanmielen had 37 tackles, 13.5 TFLs, and 10.5 sacks for Ole Miss in 2024.
55. Los Angeles Chargers - Terrance Ferguson | TE | Oregon
Adding in another weapon for Justin Herbert would be a good move if the Chargers want to do anything in the playoffs. Terrance Ferguson is a good pass-catching tight end who shined in the short-route game. I think there's a lot of potential with Ferguson, and he could go a lot higher than most people think, which is why I have him here. He also was in the same tight end room as Justin Herbert's brother, which makes a potential connection. Ferguson put up 43 catches for 591 yards and 3 TDs in 2024.
56. Cincinnati Bengals (via Bills) - Xavier Watts | SAF | Notre Dame
After trading down with Buffalo to accrue more draft capital, the Bengals get Al Golden a member of his Notre Dame defense to help in the secondary. Watts has a good combination of ball skills and instincts that make him a dangerous threat to quarterbacks everywhere, and he's also a very disciplined player, which the Bengals need. There is some work to be done on run support, but the 2023 Nagurski trophy winner has the potential to be a very good player in the league. In 2024, Watts put up 82 tackles, 3.5 TFLs, 10 PBUs, and 6 interceptions (including a 100-yard pick six against USC).
57. Carolina Panthers - J.T. Tuimolaou | EDGE | Ohio State
It might seem strange for the Panthers to double up on edge rusher, but as I expressed earlier, their situation is truly dire. J.T. Tuimoloau is a raw pass-rusher with 5-star athleticism but inconsistent play. He'll show signs of dominance, like against Penn State in 2022, but then have stretches with very little production. His athleticism is going to make him an intriguing prospect for a lot of teams, and adding more help on a rough defense in Carolina is necessary for their success. Tuimoloau put up 61 tackles, 21.5 TFLs, 12.5 sacks, and 3 PBUs in 16 games for the Buckeyes in 2024.
58. Houston Texans - Dont'e Thornton | WR | Tennessee
After losing Stefon Diggs to free agency and potentially Tank Dell to injury for 2025, the Texans need to add some receiving help in this class. Dont'e Thornton is a deep ball receiver with a lot of speed and very fascinating potential. He wasn't the most productive in college, but he did have his best season in 2024 and led the FBS in yards per catch. He had 26 receptions for 661 yards and 6 touchdowns for the Volunteers in 13 games.
59. Baltimore Ravens - Jonah Savaiinaea | OG | Arizona
The Ravens and long-named offensive linemen, name a more consistent duo. Jonah Savaiinaea is a good prospect with a history of playing right tackle. The American Samoan product isn't quite athletic enough to play tackle in the NFL in my opinion, but definitely has the potential to be an outstanding right guard. Baltimore needs that, so they draft him here. Savaiinaea has above-average size, which the Ravens like in their linemen. Savaiinaea started 11 games for the Wildcats in 2024.
60. Jacksonville Jaguars (via Lions) - Shavon Revel Jr. | CB | East Carolina
TRADE: The Jaguars send picks 70 and 126 to the Detroit Lions for pick 60.
I kind of feel bad for Shavon Revel here. He would've been a surefire first round pick if not for an ACL injury that ended his season. I expect him to slide somewhat due to that, although it's not the issue that it used to be. Anyways, the Jaguars need help in the secondary. With Revel falling, they trade up to secure the last of the high-caliber corners in the first two rounds. Revel has a nice combination of length and speed that makes him a dangerous threat on the defense. Shavon had 8 tackles, 2 INTs, and 2 PBUs in 3 games for the Pirates in 2024.
61. Washington Commanders - Landon Jackson | EDGE | Arkansas
After losing Dante Fowler Jr. to the Cowboys in free agency, the Commanders need to add another presence on their defensive line. They've been rumored to be interested in Jackson, who has been a productive player for the Razorbacks ever since he transferred in from LSU. Jackson uses his hands well and has settled into his frame over the past few seasons. In 2024, Jackson was 2nd-team All-SEC, putting up 49 tackles, 9.5 TFLs, and 6.5 sacks.
62. Buffalo Bills - Kyle Williams | WR | Washington State
Buffalo adds some more receiving help next to Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman in another fun prospect. Kyle Williams broke out on to the scene in 2024 with his first 1,000-yard receiving season as he was 4th in the FBS in receiving touchdowns. In such a dark time for the Washington State program, Williams was a bright spot. Williams has acceleration skills that allow him to be an intriguing threat. Give Josh Allen all of the weapons. In 2024, Williams put up 70 receptions for 1,198 yards and 14 touchdowns.
63. Kansas City Chiefs - Alfred Collins | DT | Texas
The Chiefs need help alongside Chris Jones on the interior defensive line. Alfred Collins is a solid nose tackle with a lot of skill. He has good traits but needs to work on his pass rushing ability, while he has the ability to be a solid run stopper at the NFL level. After losing Tershawn Wharton to Carolina, addressing the defensive tackle position is necessary for the team. Collins put up 55 tackles, 5.5 TFLs, 1 sacks, and 7 PBUs for the Longhorns in 2024.
64. Philadelphia Eagles - T.J. Sanders | DT | South Carolina
Philadelphia continues to replace their lost talent by replacing big-time free agent Milton Williams with South Carolina star T.J. Sanders. I'm a big fan of Sanders, and think he could likely go higher than this, but the Eagles would not be complaining here. Sanders is decently athletic, and uses his power pretty well. I like him a lot for Philadelphia as a Williams replacement in that group, even though he's not the exact same type of player.
ROUND THREE.
65. New York Giants - Darien Porter | CB | Iowa State
Darien Porter is arguably the most athletic corner in this entire draft. Adding him into a secondary that just added Paulson Adebo would give the Giants a lot more potential. Porter is 24, but his athleticism is elite, with 4.3 speed to help accentuate that. Porter had 18 tackles, 2 TFLs, 3 INTs, and 2 PBUs in 2024, being named Honorable Mention All-Big 12 Conference.
66. Kansas City Chiefs - Elijah Arroyo | TE | Miami (FL)
Travis Kelce probably has one more season left in the tank, so I could see the Chiefs targeting a successor. Elijah Arroyo is the best tight end on the board, and is one of the most athletic tight ends in the class. He's had some struggles with injuries, but he was highly productive this past year with Cam Ward. If medicals check out, he should be fine. He caught 35 balls for 590 yards and 7 TDs in 2024.
67. Cleveland Browns - Jack Sawyer | EDGE | Ohio State
Cleveland brings in the home-state kid to pair with Myles Garrett on the edge. Sawyer became an icon for the Buckeyes this season, with his fumble return against Texas becoming one of the greatest plays in the school's history. Sawyer reminds me of another Buckeye, former Bengal Sam Hubbard, in how he's a good run stopper but doesn't provide anything special in pass rush. Sawyer put up 59 tackles, 9 TFLs, and 9 sacks in 2024 during Ohio State's championship season.
68. Las Vegas Raiders - Savion Williams | WR | TCU
More of a utility player than a traditional wideout, Savion Williams has drawn comparisons to Cordarrelle Patterson for his skillset. He's not quite the prospect Patterson was, but he's shown production as both a receiver and a rusher. The Raiders need more dynamics in their offense, and a developmental wide receiver like Williams could be helpful. In 2024, Williams caught 60 passes for 611 yards and 6 touchdowns while rushing 51 times for 322 yards and 6 more TDs.
69. New England Patriots - Bradyn Swinson | EDGE | LSU
New England needs more force in their pass rush alongside new signing Harold Landry. Bradyn Swinson is someone who took a while to get going, but broke out in a big way in 2024. He has a good combination of acceleration and size, but still has raw tendencies that will need to be addressed. In 2024, Swinson posted 58 tackles, 13 TFLs, and 8.5 sacks in 13 games.
70. Detroit Lions (via Jaguars) - Josaiah Stewart | EDGE | Michigan
Josaiah Stewart, the former Coastal Carolina transfer, was a boom for the Michigan defense these past couple years. He's not the biggest edge rusher but he plays with good intensity and effort, as well as speed. Adding some help next to Aidan Hutchinson on the edge would be a big help for the defense. Stewart had 33 tackles, 13.5 TFLs, and 8 sacks in 11 games in 2024.
71. New Orleans Saints - Aireontae Ersery | OT | Minnesota
Trevor Penning hasn't panned out for the Saints whatsoever. Drafting a guy to play right tackle would be very intriguing, with Ersery's size and skills making a good pairing with last year's 1st-rounder in Taliese Fuaga. Ersery was a 3rd-team All-American in 2024, winning Big 10 OL of the year and starting 12 games at left tackle. He'd convert to right tackle for the Saints in this case.
72. Chicago Bears - Jaylin Noel | WR | Iowa State
Chicago needs a slot receiver with Keenan Allen gone. Jaylin Noel probably goes higher than this in real life, but Chicago gladly takes him here due to his skillset and talent. Noel is a speedy receiving with the talent to play any receiving position, but will likely stick at slot in the NFL. He was a 1st-team All-Big 12 player in 2024, putting up 1,194 receiving yards and 8 TDs.
73. Dallas Cowboys (via Jets) - Kaleb Johnson | RB | Iowa
TRADE: The Dallas Cowboys trade picks 76 and 174 to the Jets for pick 73
Dallas needs to get a stud running back to help Dak Prescott out on the offense. Luckily, Kaleb Johnson is still available despite being one of the best players in the class. Johnson is a bruiser with a lot of strength as a player, but there's still some work to be done in pass protection. Johnson put up 1,537 rushing yards with 21 touchdowns in 2024.
74. Carolina Panthers - Jalen Royals | WR | Utah State
With Bryce Young finally showing to be a competent starting quarterback, the team needs to get him some more help in the receiving corps. Royals has excellent body control and the ability to beat zone well. My big issue is the regression he had from 2023 to 2024, decreasing in yards and touchdowns. In 2024, he had 55 catches for 834 yards and 6 TDs.
75. San Francisco 49ers - Cameron Williams | OT | Texas
Trent Williams has been an elite left tackle for the 49ers for a long time, but he's getting very old. He needs a succession plan. Cameron Williams is a tackle with a lot of traits, but he's raw. Sitting him behind Silverback before letting him start in the future would be a good move. Williams started 15 games at right tackle for the Longhorns in 2024.
76. New York Jets (via Cowboys) - Harold Fannin Jr. | TE | Bowling Green
Harold Fannin Jr. was the most productive tight end in the country this past year, putting up unprecedented stats for the Falcons. He has good speed and can make contested catches pretty well. While Jeremy Ruckert is young, I think Fannin would be an upgrade. Fannin had 117 receptions for 1,555 yards and 10 touchdowns in 13 games, being named 1st-team All-MAC and becoming a finalist for the Mackey Award.
77. New England Patriots - Shemar Turner | DT | Texas A&M
New England needs more help on the interior next to Milton Williams and Christian Barmore. Shemar Turner is a very interesting prospect who isn't the biggest but has pass-rushing chops to boot. He's aggressive and quick, with a lot of power in his game, but he lacks some length. He put up 36 tackles, 5.5 TFLs, 2 sacks, a PBU, and a forced fumble.
78. Arizona Cardinals - Oluwafemi Oladejo | EDGE | UCLA
Arizona signed Josh Sweat, but adding more edge rush help could be beneficial. Oladejo was a linebacker but converted to edge rusher and has benefitted heavily. His length and aggressiveness make him a dangerous threat off the edge, and someone I think the Cardinals would be glad to have. He put up 57 tackles, 13.5 TFLs, and 4.5 sacks in 2024 for the Bruins.
79. Baltimore Ravens (from Cardinals via Texans) - Andrew Mukuba | SAF | Texas
TRADE: The Ravens send picks 91, 136, and 176 to the Cardinals for pick 79
Baltimore should look to add more in the secondary. Andrew Mukuba is a decorated safety who's played very well in his career at both Clemson and Texas. Mukuba has instincts and is pretty decently athletic. He also has good ball skills, coming 4th in the FBS with interceptions. He put up 69 tackles, 4 TFLs, 7 PBUs, and 5 INTs in 2024. He was also 3rd-team All-SEC.
80. Indianapolis Colts - Barryn Sorrell | EDGE | Texas
Indianapolis needs more help on the edge, and they love their athletic freaks, which Barryn Sorrell is. He has elite strength and very strong speed for the position, but he's incredibly raw. I still think he's the type of player that Indianapolis could use. He also uses his hands really well, so he would be a decent pick here. He put up 44 tackles, 11 TFLs, and 6 sacks in 2024.
81. Cincinnati Bengals - Marcus Mbow | OG | Purdue
Cincinnati doesn't have a quality starter at either side of the interior offensive line. Marcus Mbow is a versatile player who could play any of the interior positions, including center. For the Bengals, he'd likely start at right guard, a position which there's a huge hole at. He's more athletic than he is powerful, and he'd be a fun fit next to Amarius Mims. He started 12 games at RT for the Boilermakers in 2024.
82. Seattle Seahawks - Jordan Burch | EDGE | Oregon
Jordan Burch fills a need at edge depth for the Seahawks, who already have a decent group but could use more rotation. Burch is a talented pass rusher who has a good frame and plays with energy. There's upside to this selection, as he could develop into more than just a rotational guy, but he'll likely begin as a backup in Seattle. Burch put up 31 tackles, 11 TFLs, and 8.5 sacks in 10 games for the Ducks in 2024.
83. Pittsburgh Steelers - Vernon Broughton | DT | Texas
Pittsburgh is likely looking to add another defensive tackle in the draft. Vernon Broughton is an interesting prospect to me, as he has quickness and tackling skills that make him an asset on the DL. His strength is somewhat lacking, but he plays with enough mobility to make up for it. I think he'd be a fit in Pittsburgh to learn from Cam Heyward. Broughton put up 39 tackles, 4.5 TFLs, and 4 sacks in 2024.
84. New Orleans Saints (via Buccaneers) - Jack Bech | WR | TCU
TRADE: New Orleans sends picks 93 and 131 to the Buccaneers for pick 84
New Orleans doesn't have much in their receiving corps outside of Chris Olave, so they need to invest in a wide receiver at some point in the first two days of the draft. Bech is a strong receiver with good contested catch skills, which adds more dynamics to that corps. There's some issues with explosiveness, but he's a smart enough player to work it out. Bech put up 62 receptions for 1,034 yards and 9 TDs for the Horned Frogs in 2024.
85. Denver Broncos - Joshua Farmer | DT | Florida State
Denver addresses their defense here by adding more help next to Zach Allen on the front seven. Joshua Farmer is a decently-sized player who uses his length and strength to succeed on the interior. He's not the quickest, but his pure strength is enough to work well. Denver needs a presence on the inside, and Farmer could be that for them. Farmer put up 32 tackles, 8 TFLs, and 4 sacks in 2024.
86. Los Angeles Chargers - Elic Ayomanor | WR | Stanford
The Chargers give Justin Herbert another pass-catcher, this time Stanford's Elic Ayomanor, who first caught my attention during the team's epic comeback against Colorado in 2023. Ayomanor is a good contested catch receiver who has a combination of size and speed to succeed at the NFL level. He's not a blazer like Matthew Golden, but he does the job. Elic was 2nd-team All-ACC (still feels wrong) in 2024, going for 831 yards on 63 receptions while also catching 6 TDs.
87. Green Bay Packers - C.J. West | DT | Indiana
Green Bay needs more help on the interior defensive line next to Kenny Clark. C.J. West is an athletic defensive tackle who became a key contributor for the Hoosiers' run to the playoffs in 2024. He ran a sub-5 second 40 at 315, which is insane. He plays with quickness and uses his hands well throughout plays. West accounted for 42 tackles, 7.5 TFLs, and 2 sacks for the Hoosiers in 2024.
88. Jacksonville Jaguars - Wyatt Milum | OG | West Virginia
Most websites have Wyatt Milum listed at tackle, but I think he'd be better suited to play guard, especially in Jacksonville where they're currently struggling on the interior. They signed Patrick Mekari, but he's not the highest-quality starter. Milum has shorter arms, which is why I think guard fits him better, but he's a talented player with a lot of strength and intelligence for the position. Milum started 11 games at LT for the Mountaineers in 2024.
89. Houston Texans - Miles Frazier | OG | LSU
Houston isn't done adding to the offensive line, as they also bring in LSU's Miles Frazier to play at guard. Frazier started 3 years for the Tigers after 2 years at FIU, having the experience and pedigree that scouts love. Frazier has a decent frame and plays with strength. There are some concerns with his technique, but that can be cleaned with coaching. Frazier started all 13 games for the Tigers this past season.
90. Los Angeles Rams - Jacob Parrish | CB | Kansas State
I could see Parrish going a lot earlier than this, but the Rams take their needed corner. Parrish is a great athlete, with blazing speed and ball skills that make him an intriguing prospect. He's improved over the past 3 season and seems to be ready for the next level. Los Angeles needs someone to step in with how dire their situation looks, and Parrish could be that guy. He posted 50 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, and an interception this past season for the Wildcats.
91. Arizona Cardinals (via Ravens) - Ozzy Trapilo | OT | Boston College
Considering Jonah Williams' concerning injury history, the Cardinals are likely to address tackle at some point during this draft. Luckily, a talented tackle like Ozzy Trapilo falling to them is a perfect reason to select one. He could be a backup year one and develop behind Williams before becoming a starter after his contract expires. Trapilo started 12 games at right tackle for the Eagles this past season
92. Chicago Bears (via Seahawks) - Kevin Winston Jr. | SAF | Penn State
Kevin Byard isn't as young as he used to be, so adding more help in the secondary should be something Chicago considers. Kevin Winston Jr. is a prospect with the size and physical attributes to be a starter at the NFL level, but there are some concerns about how well his instincts will translate. Learning from Byard could be a way to get Winston the development he needs. Winston put up 13 tackles and a forced fumble in 3 games before missing the rest of the season with a knee injury.
93. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Kyle Kennard | EDGE | South Carolina
Tampa Bay drafts the Nagurski Award winner to help their defensive line out. Kennard was a highly productive edge rusher this past season, using his size and speed to dominate SEC competition. There are some inconsistencies in his play, such as times when he'd struggle not to be knocked off balance, but the upside is clearly there. Kennard put up 28 tackles, 15.5 TFLs, and 11.5 sacks in 2024, alongside 3 forced fumbles.
94. Minnesota Vikings (via Browns) - Dylan Sampson | RB | Tennessee
Minnesota could use another running back, especially in a class this loaded. Dylan Sampson is a player that's good at getting through contact and has elite vision. He was one of the most productive backs in college football, and his instincts give him a distinct advantage over competition. The Vikings need more help alongside Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason, and Sampson could be that. Sampson put up 1,491 yards for 22 touchdowns this past season, being named 1st-team All-SEC.
95. Kansas City Chiefs - Charles Grant | OG | William & Mary
More offensive line help coming for Kansas City, who traded elite guard Joe Thuney to the Bears for ... a 4th round pick. No matter. Charles Grant is an FCS tackle who has been playing consistently for the past four years. He's a pretty decent athlete with above-average arm length, but I definitely see him playing guard in the NFL. He was a 1st-team FCS All-American this past season, starting 12 games at left tackle for the Tribe.
96. Detroit Lions (via Eagles) - Tory Horton | WR | Colorado State
Detroit doesn't have too many glaring needs, but adding a 3rd wide receiver could be something they prioritize. Tory Horton is a small-school guy who has quickness and athleticism to boot, and his route-running shows a high level of instincts and smart usage of hands. He suffered a knee injury this past season that limited him to just six games, but I still think a team could select him late day 3. He put up 26 receptions for 353 yards and a TD in those 6 games.
97. Minnesota Vikings - Omarr Norman-Lott | DT | Tennessee
All 3 of their starting defensive tackles are 29 or above, so I think the Vikings should look to add another DT at some point during the draft to add some youth into the rotation. Norman-Lott is more a DE in their scheme, but he's a talented rusher with good penetration and athleticism. The key with him is how the scheme uses him, because he was limited in his usage with the Volunteers. Norman-Lott plugged in 26 tackles, 6 TFLs, and 5.5 sacks with the Volunteers in 2024.
98. Miami Dolphins - Ty Robinson | DT | Nebraska
I personally feel like it's understated just how dire Miami's defensive tackle situation is. They need to add somebody early in the 2025 draft, and Ty Robinson is the best available in this situation. He has a strong motor and plays with a lot of power, but he still has work to do on his technique. A player like Robinson would be a much-needed addition along the front seven in Miami. Robinson put up 37 tackles, 12.5 TFLs, and 7 sacks on his way to being named 3rd-team All-Big Ten in 2024.
99. New York Giants - Tyler Shough | QB | Louisville
Louisville's Tyler Shough is the biggest wild card of this draft to me. I've heard rumors of teams liking him as early as the 1st round, but also could see him falling very fall. New York likely should invest in another quarterback at some point in this draft, which Shough could be. Shough is an older QB, but has good arm talent and goes through his progressions well. He put up 3,195 yards, 23 TDs, and 6 interceptions in 2024.
100. San Francisco 49ers - Cameron Skattebo | RB | Arizona State
Call him Gambit, former Sacramento State runner Cameron Skattebo made a name for himself this season with Arizona State as he helped lead them to a College Football Playoff berth and near upset of the Texas Longhorns in the Peach Bowl. Skattebo thrives in contact, being a bruising back who can break off tackles really well. His production was insane, as he put up 2,316 all-purpose yards and 25 total touchdowns (21 rushing, 3 receiving, 1 passing) and was voted 5th in the Heisman race.
101. Los Angeles Rams - Chris Paul Jr. | LB | Ole Miss
Chris Paul returns to Los Angeles after a long absence, except this time it's a completely different person and sport altogether. Paul is a talented blitzer who also improved his play recognition tremendously this season. I am a huge fan of Paul's game, and think he'd be a good fit to help improve the linebacking corps for the Rams. The former Arkansas transfer put up 88 tackles, 11 TFLs, 3.5 sacks, and an interception this past season for the Rebels.
102. Las Vegas Raiders (via Lions) - Will Howard | QB | Ohio State
TRADE: The Raiders trade picks 108 and 213 to the Lions for pick 102
With the final pick of the 3rd round (and of this mock draft), the Raiders move up to select a potential QB of the future in Ohio State's Will Howard. Geno Smith is 35, so he's not going to be the long-term solution. Setting up for the future should involve selecting a guy to learn behind Geno this year. Luckily, there's a quarterback who has familiarity with offensive coordinator Chip Kelly and had major success under him. Will Howard is my personal QB1, and that has to do with his poise and accuracy. He showed a lot of toughness this year at Ohio State, and improved tremendously from his years at Kansas State. Howard led the Buckeyes to a national championship in 2024, throwing for 4,010 yards, 35 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions in 16 games.
Thank you guys so much for reading, and I hope you're having a wonderful day! Be prepared for the draft on Thursday, and I'm so excited to share this experience with all of you. This is Lando from the Landoman Experiment, signing off!
